Eligibility
Any student registered in a College or University that is located in the State of Utah is eligible to participate in the Utah Real Estate Challenge!
Students need to be enrolled in at least nine credit hours during Winter or Spring semesters (student standing will be verified by UREC). Teams must be registered by a qualifying student and may have from 1 to 5 members. Teams need to have at least 2 students that meet the above criteria. There are no restrictions regarding other team members. They may be other students, faculty, family, or professionals and do not need to be residents of Utah.
Successful teams will have a strong combination of finance, construction, land planning and real estate development skills. Work together with you school or network on the Challenge Website to find team members that will give you a good diversity of expertise.
Remember too that teams may present more than one plan; however, only the highest scoring plan submitted by your team will qualify for the finals.
